I was wondering if there is any true hope of me losing the pooch of flaby skin right over my csection scar. I was told by my doctor that my ab muscles are seperated, so I'm guessing my mid section will never truely get flat as I would like. I will probably be okay with that, if I knew I could lose that d*mn flab above my scar. I want to avoid a tummy tuck, if possible to get a nice looking belly through exercise. I'm 5'3 and weigh 120, but I feel like I look bigger cause of how my belly pooches. Any sucess stories? I run and started 30 day shred. I'm hoping this will help. My husband wants to buy me a skimpy bikini, so I want to make sure I look good in it by summer .

There have been a lot of women who posted before and after pics that have had amazing results after having a c-section. Just be sure to ask a doctor about what exercises are okay for you to do with separated ab muscles. Some of the traditional ab exercises (like crunches) are known to worsen the condition.
Here is one example of someone's results (a few posts down). And another, last post of the page. Search c-section and I'm sure you'll find more.

Hi there!
I gained 60 lbs with my first baby.
23 months later I gave birth by C-Section to twins
10 months ago I had our 9 lbs boy a week postdue.
I know about the ab thing. What I have found works is wearing a steel-boned corset to help hold things in and to keep my back from bothering me. I've been wearing it ittermittantly for about 6 weeks now and it's brought my waistline in by 2 inches.
I do recommend yoga and pilates to help keep your core strengthened but the corset has been a lifesaver for my back. It sounds a bit old-fashioned but it's much more comfortable than those awful medical velcroed ab braces they give you. There is a bookjust out that I recommend reading that discusses the health benefits and issues with corsetry, but just to have the relief for my back has been a huge blessing.

Did not read the replies but.....
I think your ab muscle condition prior to getting pregnant has a lot to do with it. I had two with two different cuts. It is what it is...I really hate this saying but it fits this topic.0 -
Proper diet and exercise. 3 circuit training is what I've been doing, I still have a small pooch but nothing huge like it once was.
I know I can get rid of it, with cleaner eating and heavier weights.
