Late night munchies while quitting smoking: Help!

So I made it my one New year's resolution to quit smoking (8 years mostly a pack a day). But in the last week I've had such a ROUGH case of late night snacking and my normal go to's ( water, tea, light exercise) just aren't working.
I'm not looking for a miracle answer, and I do realize that most of this lies with my will power but it's pretty darn difficult to say no to junk food when I'm busy saying no to smoking.

Some people I know have found these helpful .....
Snacking on sunflower seeds in the shell
E cigarettes - order online, just liquid tobacco that you heat up and breathe in.
Herbal cigarettes - from health food stores
Later two options are free of chemicals and still enable you to perform the motions of smoking a cigarette without the nasty side effects.

I quit 3 years ago and every time I wanted one, I cleaned something. Sounds crazy but from dressers to closets to the attic whatever I had been ignoring or didn't want to deal with I finally took care of it. In time the urge passes. I smoked outside so it being really cold helped too!0
