Good afternoon all!
Shanell...when is your daughter's birthday? My daughter Maddy will be 10 on Dec3. She also wants a sleep over. Dad is a wise man and will be hunting that weekend! She is real big on peace signs right now. So I came up with the perfect favor for the girls and have found lots of really good deals. For each girl(6 total) I am making pillow cases for floor sized pillows that will have one side peace/ flower print and the other a striped print with a large peace sign. The past year I have been making things for friends' children and baby showers, so Maddy is super excited that it is now her turn!

I'm going to try harder to post on here a little more often!
I'm having a much better day today. Hormone levels continue to inch up. Doctor says that as long as they increase, not to worry. Yeah right, I'm still worried, but feeling a little better. She wants to to continue to come in for blood work Tuesdays and Fridays for the next couple of weeks. My first OB appointment is September 14, so I am hoping that will end once I go in for that appointment.
I've definitely been stress eating this week. I didn't make my weekly meal plan on Sunday, so DH and I have been doing a lot of convenience food eating... BAD! Frozen pizza, Indian food from a jar, etc. BAD, BAD, BAD! I have gone to the gym the past 2 days and did 30 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the bike. Going to go again today. Tomorrow (Thursday) I'm going to the Colts/Bengals pre-season game... My friend (that does not know I'm pregnant) has a gift certificate for a sushi place in downtown Indy, so I guess I'm going to have to tell her about my bun in the oven... Or I can just get avocado or California rolls...
Tonight, I'm making butternut squash risotto and pork chops. Very healthy dinner! I will get on better track next week, although Labor Day weekend might throw a wrench in those plans. We shall see. Have a nice evening everyone!0 -

Finally getting to recording my weight. I was putting it off because it is the same as last week, meaning I didn't lose any. But I decided that no loss was still better than gain, so here it is. I'm still pretty happy with myself - it turned out to be a bad weekend exercise-wise, but I jumped right back in on Monday. Yay me! :P Hope everyone is having a great week!0 -

running 2 loads a day with the car. thanks so much shanell for your help. the girls are going to be surprised. will just run one load today. getting outside stuff all together and ready. we could only get a 14' truck so about 3 loads.kitchen is there so we can cook. been eating at 7-7:30 at night. too late for me. the scale is not going down because of that. tonight will be earlier.
well, need to get dressed and outside before the 90+ hits.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm so ready for the long weekend... Bring it on!
Going to the Colts game tonight, so it's going to be a late one for me. I didn't sleep well last night either, so I'm in a sort of bad mood today... Football will hopefully make that all better
I haven't been very good about logging all of my eating and exercise this week. I think I'm going to take the rest of the week off from that, and start over fresh next week.

Cathy - great news on the new house, I hope you love it.
Sorry I have been really bad lately just in some sort of funk. I need to get at it again, because I know I do better when I am logging. Just running into some financial issues, which cause stress, which means I eat. Not a good cycle.
But anyways have logged my food for today, not the best choices but could be worse. I am hoping to get a menu planned for next week so I can do better and also so we dont eat out.
It is great to see you all on here and doing well. I will get on tonight and finish up my log for the day.

good morning all.
just another quick check in for me. taking a load this morning and than again this afternoon. DH wants to put up the shelving in closets. nephew showed up last night, big surprise. i wasn't expecting him until tonight or tomorrow. he has a truck forgot about that. so taking fence today and hope it fits and they can come over with us tonight.
need to get my butt in gear. i hate to wake him. might enjoy another cup of coffee and than get going. landlord should get his letter today. i prayed for him last night.

Good morning all, hope you are having a great start to your friday. Today is a busy day as usual. OT and Speech for dd then off to the grocery store, going to hit a few, to many good deals to pass up this weekend. Then back home to fgure out plans for the weekend.
Need to do a menu befor going shopping, so need to run.

I had a fun night with my friend Jen last night. We went out for dinner and then to the Colts game. The game was disappointing however... Even though they announced the starting line-up for the defense, very few (if any) of them actually played. Then, Peyton Manning never played either. We left at half-time, so I was able to get home and was in bed by 10:30. That was nice!
Looking forward to this weekend! We have no big plans, so we'll see what happens. Anybody doing anything fun?0 -
Good afternoon everyone!
I am so ready to get off work and enjoy my 3-day weekend! I wanted to touch base and let you guys know that I have busy every morning with my Jillian Michaels 30 day shred. It is still whopping up on me, I'm ready for my muscles to not be so sore. I do have to admit when I stood on the scale for weigh in on Tuesday, it first said a lower # than 209. I was so shocked and didn't believe it that I got off and got back on. To my bummer that lower # didn't appear again. But you better believe this morning I hopped back on the scale to see what it said. 207.5!!!!! I am so excited!!! I just wanted to come on and share my news. I never really realized that losing weight could be as easy as tracking your food. I have found my new favorite site, MFP! I am loving life and my scale right now!!!

Cathy - Hope your move went well today, I do not envy you...
Today was a quick day, work was busy and the night has flown by. Got home ate some dinner, my honey grilled steak on the grill so that was very yummy, then went for a short walk with dd, did some of her play/excersice for OT. Working on her core muscles so we work on rolling the ball back and forth with her sitting on the floor feet in front of her. She always W sits, so she is lacking core muscle strength. She loved it so that is good. Gave her a bath and just put her to bed. Now I have laundry going and a kitchen waiting to be cleaned. But have a busy day tomorrow and then hopefully a day of rest on Monday. Want to have all house work done, so it will just be a play day on Monday.

I'm up late/early because I came home after working Saturday... and fell asleep after a snack! lol so I went to sleep from 7 pm til 2 am and now I'm wide awake! So, I'm up enjoying some quiet time! I have stayed within my calorie limits the past 3 days in a row!!! YAY!!! that's a good thing for me, it's TOM for me so I don't think my weight is doing what I want it to do.
School is going good... being that I'm a "senior" medical student now, I get to do more... which is good, and that means I have to do more/work lonnnnnggggg hours. So that makes me exhausted. as hard as I have been working out I should see better results by now. I got my thyroid checked to make sure I'm not missing anything - won't know results til tues or so- but I don't suspect anything should be going on. Most likely, I am stalled because I am chronically sleep deprived... And stress makes you keep on the pounds.
so, my new focus will be on sleeping 8 hours as often as I can, working out (which I already do and love) and staying within my calories. And hopefully, my weight will begin to lower!

Hiya ladies. I can't find the new thread for this week, but I'm not sure if I have just missed it. Maybe the holiday yesterday threw everything off?
Well, as of 9 a.m. today, I am officially off work and on vacation for the week. It has been a year since I have really had any time off. Hubby is taking me and kids to the mountains for three days and the beach for four. I can't wait. I get to sleep in every day (that means about 7 to 8 am for me).
I actually met my goal this challenge already...and then some. I am so excited. My goal since this is an active vacation, is to lose another 0.5 lb when I return next week. I'm now at the weight I was when I got married 4 years ago. My next and last goal is to be what I weighed before I got pregnant with my son, so that is 6 lb. Going to try and do it nice and slow.
Cathy - Great job on the move. Your efficiency is always impressive.
Tiff - Congrats on the engagement. I hope the wedding planning goes as stress-free as possible for you.
Lindsey - How is it going for you? How are you feeling?
Lauryn - How are you and your precious little girl doing?
Kristin - Did we pass the year mark yet on your beautiful one? So many things I need to catch up on.
