I'm Italian, I LOVE Extra Virgin Olive Oil. LOVE it. The other night my one pasta bowl for me, had 600 calories worth of Olive Oil in. O_O. Are there any tasty lower calorie options for oil?

5 tablespoons of oil in one bowl of pasta? Must be a big bowl then. It's unnecessary to use so much to get desired taste. Maybe try to add less?

No fat mayo might work with pasta. Tomato souse as well. Low fat cheese goes good with pasta too.

If you are looking for ways how to cook food without adding fat the only options you really have is either steam, boil, or grill it or use no fat cooking spray or a pan with special overlay for some foods so they don't burn. Other than that all oils have pretty huge calorie content.

On hot pasta I typically just use oil and veggies. I don't like tomato sauce... and mayo isn't going to be right hot.
Some people like sweets, some people like soda. I LOVE EVOO. So trust me 600 calories was my cut back serving of it.

All oils pretty much have the same amount of calories. It's one of those things you do have to measure out and just reduce the amount you're using. An alternative is those 'butter' sprays but they still have calories and those sprays add up quick!

I'd skip the pasta, keep the EVOO, add a nice burrata, slices of ripe tomatoes, a few leaves of fresh basil, a few veal saltinboca, a couple slices of Prosciutto di Parma, and deep fried artichoke hearts. Would work perfectly with my LCHF eating plan, with 70% fat.

So you have "oil teeth", huh? Is it just for olive oil or all oils? I Imagine it's not for all oils since all oils don't taste the same. So even if there would be one that is low in calories you might still not like it cos it would not be olive oil.

How about trying to add less oil and mixing up some olives in instead to make of for taste? I don't know how that would work since they do have a little different taste but if you would do this it would prolly be less calories than pure oil.
