Some of these scam artists are finally getting hit where it hurts most, the wallet. I hope the FTC keeps up the good work and gets more of this garbage off the market.

NSS quote but apparently a lot of people still don't get it:

“The chances of being successful just by sprinkling something on your food, rubbing cream on your thighs, or using a supplement are slim to none"

    Thanks for sharing.

    Interesting how L'occitane got fined. All their stuff in their boutiques is very froufrou and expensive. They make a lot of outrageous claims, not only slimming creams, but also skin rejuvenation, wrinkles erasing cream, etc. C'est beaucoup de BS.

    This thread sunk like a stone. I figured that lawsuit would be bigger news on MFP than it was since so many people here fall for scam diets and fads. There's two or three mentioned on the first page of this forum right now.
