Struggling to cut down Sugar?

I am worried that I am not cutting down my sugar enough - but I don't know where I am going wrong.

Today I have 600 calories left (which will be my dinner) but I only have 1 pt left on my sugar intake before it exceeds. Everything else I am in control of.

My daily goal intake for sugar is 50 and I am at 49. 25 of those points are just from fruit and veg.

What I'm asking is, if all this sugar is coming from fruit, it surely can't be bad?

I probably sound really dumb asking this question, but oh well!

Unless you have a medical condition, do not worry about it.
Sugar is a carb, track that number.

Don't worry about sugar. I don't even track it.

MFP gets it's sugar number from the recommendation for "added" sugar. But food labels don't differentiate between natural or added sugar so you end up with an inflated number.

Sugar is a subset of carbs, so just keep your carbs in check and you'll be fine.
