12 Week Body Transformation Challenge

I've always been a hard gainer. Part of that is an unusually high metabolism (RMR at age 25 = around 3500 calories. I'm 31 now so I assume its slowed down some). I've also been pretty physically active most of my life with a variety of activities. About 3 years ago, I finally got interested in actually working out. I started going to the gym following, of all things, one of Bruce Lee's first weight lifting routines (I'm a martial artist as well). Unfortunately, I injured my wrist about 2 months into it and that was that. I started again about a year ago, with the idea to try to gain weight. For about 10 years, I've hovered around 135-140 (5' 9"). I did a ton of research on how the body responds to lifting, hypertrophy, etc and have a rather in depth understanding of what it takes to reach various fitness goals, but actually making it work for me was rather difficult. Nevertheless, I did see some gains of about 10lbs in a two month period while following Jim Stoppani's Shortcut to Size program on Bodybuilding.com. Unfortunately, a pulled hamstring (tennis) took me out of commission and I kind of let lifting fall to the wayside. Regretfully, I also lost the 10 lbs I gained. Well.. I'm back. And this time, I have decided to join my communities 12 Week Body Transformation Challenge. I'll be going back on the Shortcut to Size program, using myfitnesspal to track my calories (have a goal of 3500 calories today), and hopefully seeing some great results! If anyone has any specific tips or advice, feel free to let me know :)

BTW, I'm 142lbs now, around 9.5% BF. My ultimate goal is about 165 lbs at about 7.5% BF. For the 12 Week Challenge, I'm hoping to get to about 155 with an expected 10% BF.
