Lost 25 lbs but i'm afriad I may gain it all back....

After much workout of me kicking my butt for the past month and a half I have successfully lost 25 lbs thanks to the power of Jillian Michaels from the biggest loser and her workout DVDs. At first it was a lot of dragging myself through each workout wondering when it was going to be over. Then eventually I got the motivation to kick myself in the butt and really work these workouts. For anyone who watches the biggest loser like I do and for anyone who knows Jillian Michaels you know she is not some slap on the wrist nice girl work out trainer.

With Jillian Michaels expect her to kick you to the curb with her workouts she doesn't take working out lightly I learned the hard way lol. I just want to make sure I can keep my motivation levels up because a few years ago I worked out and lost a ton of weight and then one day it all came packing back on as if I had not lost any weight and I gained so much more due to stress and other things going on in my life.

My main concern is that now that I have lost these 25 lbs (and I do feel great) but I'm concerned that I will lose myself again and gain all the weight back and then some like I did a few years ago. I don't want that to happen again. What can you suggest to help me keep up my motivation and continue on the right path? What helps you when your feeling low and want to give up sometimes?

Congratulations! First keep some before and after pictures to help you remember how you have changes. To keep the Wgt. Off, you must continue some of the things you did to lose the Wgt. Making healthy food choices, exercising and drinking water must be your lifestyle. These must be part of your life forever or you will revert back to your old ways. Good Luck!

Thank you for the kind response. I will say that food is my weakness. I have had to give up a lot of foods that I do not wish I had to give up. I gave up my cheesecake and my icecream although lately I have been trying to eat the foods I like just in moderation and even in then it is hard when you would rather have the whole slice of cheesecake instead of just part of it. But I am working on that and thanks I will be sure to do the before and after pictures and see if that can help me. Hopefully seeing the old way I used to look will keep me motivated to not want to go back to that weight anymore.
