    Any tangible good can and likely has been used as a medium of exchange. As such, if an element is ruled out due to its use as a medium of exchange, anything of value would have to be ruled out on the same basis.

    No, not exactly. For an item to have monetary properties, it must have agreement of acceptance in the present, otherwise, said item is not money, but a commodity to be sold or bartered. But, I enjoy your tenacity when defending yourself. Your wife must be thrilled.

    Not to be depressing, but to be a mother. I have health issues preventing my husband and I from being parents. So to be able to have just one child of our own would be a wish come true!
