I'm blessed enough to live in a state with a strong agriculture and lots of sun, so I get to play with a lot of fruits and vegetables. I took this (http://jeanetteshealthyliving.com/2011/12/fresh-berry-green-salad-with-pomegranate-meyer-lemon-salad-dressing-recipe.html) recipe and switched out the pomegranate juice for cranberry-pomegranate. We keep it in a travel mug in our fridge.

So, here is my amazing salad:

Spring mix
Honey roasted almonds (I buy a pound from Sprouts and sprinkle a few on top)
Chevre (about a third of an ounce will service an entire bowl)
Blackberries
Raspberries
Sliced Strawberries (my kid is picky about her berries)
Oranges (peeled, pulled in half, and then sliced across the membranes)
Cran-pom meyer lemon vinaigrette

I reckon it would also be good with chicken over it.

My roommate and I heat up some of my chicken-vegetable soup, and each make ourselves a salad and have ourselves a nice little lunch together. And of course, because its salad, you don't feel like an *kitten* grabbing seconds (and dear god will you want seconds).
