Hey Everyone,

I gave myself the task to be GF/DF/VG for the whole of January - I am off to wagamamas at lunch and just wondering if anyone knows what I can eat as they are saying everything on their menu has gluten in?

Thank you!

My normal diet is gluten free, dairy free, and vegetarian, although I didn't try to be gluten free -- it just happened. I rarely eat bread.

You could have rice, beans, and any vegetables. Many dishes are gluten free/dairy free/vegetarian at Mexican restaurants (just tell them not to include cheese), Asian restaurants (Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese), and Indian restaurants.

but be careful of Soy Sauce as it tends to have wheat flour/gluten in.

I've been there a bunch of times as a vegan, although never gluten free. But they've always been very helpful and willing to do substitutions to make sure I can eat the food. Rice/rice noodles would be glutenfree, and those with veggies and stuff would probably be a great choice. Tasty too! vegetarian pad thai maybe? I don't think that would have gluten...

Yup, get tamari instead if you can. (I know that's hard when eating somewhere other than home, but if ever given the option!)
