Hi, I had a baby last July and gained about 35 pounds during pregnancy. I had about 15lbs I wanted to lose before I got pregnant. I hired a personal trainer in January and have lost about 30lbs, so I'm pretty much at my pre-pregnant weight. I love working out and how my body feels after all the hours at the gym. Now I'm trying to lose that last 15 lbs that I've been trying to lose ever since I can remember!
I know I have to be serious about the food I put in my mouth ... especially since working out is already part of my daily routine.
I am doing a 2 week Detox program which consists mostly of eating a lot of protein and greens. No sugar, low carb (no bread, pasta). I'm doing quite well on the program so far, I'm on my 2nd week. Problem is, I don't eat enough calories to meet my daily quota (with or without workout). I don't feel hungry but I find myself eating something just to add those missing calories.
I am looking for a friend who will check to make sure I log my food in every day and make healthy suggestions.
I now weight 175lbs and would like to see 145 by Christmas. Another 30lbs to go and it's all about the food!

I shall add you
I have a baby in October last year, went up to 192, but was already carrying some extra weight. I now weigh 171, so very sinilar to you. I find it gets harder to lose the less you have to lose. I am doing the thirty day shred atm and I am getting a cross trainer tomorrow, so I am all good on the exercise front its the motivation to not binge that gets me. We can keep each other in check0 -
Hi, good luck on your weight loss goals. I too am 35 and am trying to lose weight. Since I was pregnant in 2002 with my first child I gained nearly 100 pounds. YIKES! I have started really watching what I am eating and exercising. I have even incorporated exercise into folding laundry by turning up the music and keeping moving. I also started Zumba and love love love it. I am going to send you an add (as I am new too and am looking for all of the support I can).0

This is the same as me also, had a baby back in 02 and just never moved the weight I gained, so after baby two last year I was 70lb heavier. Role on the day I can get into my 2001 jeans, that I have kept lol0

You are definately motivated so keep that up...sounds like the exercise is going well.....you need the carbs for energy so dont ditch them too much. get yourself a nike+ ipod connection, its great for logging all the steps/runs you do and will help you motivate yourself to get out whatever the weather. Using gym equipment is great, but nothing creates the energy loss like walking/running on open grouns as there is resistance against each step.........keep going.0

I hear you ladies loud and clear. I was 220 lbs the day I delivered. I gained 50 lbs when I was pregnant. Then I said enough is enough and worked really hard and lost 60 lbs. Which was great! I have maintained **most** of that weight loss, but gained approx 20 back over the past 2 years. I joined here because I need someone to hold me accountable to staying within my calories! I work out very regularly and have put on a lot of muscle in the past year (again not complaining), but I am hungry all the time.
So, I'd be happy to help you if you can please help me too. I am 35, and a personal trainer (ironic, I know, that I am here!) but like I said I am always hungry and staying within my calories is really tough. I could eat my entire kitchen if no one's around to stop me. But if I know someone will look at what I ate for the day then that will help my restraint and help me get back into my skinny jeans!0
