I've been Challenged!

So--I've been needing a reason to STAY on track...and now I have it. I got an email from a friend this morning asking if our group of friends were up for the challenge of a 5K Run/Walk. I started the Couch-to-5K program months ago but never made it passed week 3. This will give me reason to be able to do it... I will do this. I have 7 weeks to train and get ready--now just to keep on track and make it happen! I think we are shooting for a Run Group and a Walk Group -- so we should have a pretty good time! =)

I think I'll log my progress weekly so that I have to be accountable. =)

So-- Week 1 Day 1 starts TODAY!

    You can do it, couch to 5k is a great program. If it feels like you're getting exasperated, you're going too fast. Don't be worried if your running speed is the same or even slower than your walking speed. It builds up. You can do it!
