Returning MFP'er - Trying Different This Time Around...

So this might sound weird, but when I had a MFP account before I had lots and lots of motivating friends on there -- but for whatever reason their success almost made me feel bad about how I hadn't done like anything on my progress or just yo-yoing with my success.
This time around, I weigh like 10 more pounds than I did when I originally started MFP -- so the highest was 213lb and I just weighted myself this morning and it was 211lb! (yay!)
But anyways -- my point of this post is that I am going to stay active in the community but add NO friends for a while so I can just get on here -- do my thing, and not be distracted of other's success.
Anyone else done this and actually have success with it? Just curious
