6 stone in 5 months......

hey people,
I hope you are all well and enjoying your fitness journey, I just wanted to share mine. when I was 14 I was 19 stone and lost 6 stone in 5 months and grew to 6 foot 5.
this felt great at the time. unfortunately, my shoulders started to dislocate and had to have both reconstructed when I was 15. I came back from that and played a high level of football as a goalkeeper. again joints stopped that and I have had 17 knee operations in the past 4 years.
I just want people to read this to get a point of view of rapid weight loss being bad for different reason to just making it harder to keep the weight off when you have stopped.
look at weight loss not as an end goal but as a lifestyle change. if you look at it as changing how you live your life, doesn't have to be dramatic changes but consistency will work and it will pay off.
if you have any questions, reply and ill answer them as best I can.....
just joined this site and looking forward to talking to you all....

Thank you for sharing your experience of a possible consequence of rapid weight loss. Your suggestion to approach weight loss as a gradual lifestyle change is sage advice.0
