I just started to hear the word "macros" even though I've been on here for a while. Can someone please explain the term and how I can calculate them?

macronutrients are your protein fat and carbohydrates0

MFP sets them up for you if you use the guided goals. Or you can choose the ratios under custom goals.0

I calculate my protein first, then fats, and whatever is left over goes to carbs. You can always readjust your macros based on how you feel. For example I feel better on higher fats, so a few weeks ago I took some calories away from carbs so that I could eat more fats.0
