All that matters when just losing weight is your goal is that you create a calorie deficit. Eat at a slight deficit to create some of that total and continue walking and training to create the rest. Stay the course and it will happen. Learn your body and it will happen. Are you tracking what your are eating?

Absolutely... provided your calorie intake is appropriate. There are lots of success stories on here, but one memorable one from elsewhere is River Jack (reported on Huffington Post if you want to search for her).

Sure can. All my loss has been down to diet and regular walking. I can't do much more due to ankle damage. I started out not able to walk half a mile a day, and now do an average of 5 per day. Today I've clocked up nearly 8 miles; browsing stores, to home from work, and just round the office. Not intense work, but it all counts.

I also lost most of my weight (and almost all of it fat, according to the oh-so-accurate BIA scale) by walking and climbing stairs. A little walking led to more walking. Slow walking led to faster walking. And then that led to running, and strength training, and martial arts. Walking is a great way to start imho.

I lost most of my weight walking about half an hour a day. Every couple of weeks I'd do something more extreme, but for the most part just the walking. Diet is 90% of it. You only need cardio to give you more to eat, not to lose weight. The weight training is important for keeping your muscle mass and therefore your metabolism stable so that is really great.

Refocus on your diet. Make sure that you are weighing and measuring everything appropriately, and that your calorie goals are in line with your BMR/TDEE etc.
