Hi Guys,
Sorry if this is the 12,000th post this week asking for help but I am losing weight and when I update my ticker tomorrow it will show 35lb lost. I want to lost another 15 but really want to look at toning and building muscle from now. I am 6ft 6 and quite strong (without sounding like a bighead) but really need to have a routine... It seems all I do at the moment is an hour of cardio and then 30 minutes doing a few of the resistance machine working on different areas and then sit ups and press ups... I don't have any leg day, back & biceps etc going on I just do the same everytime...
I really want to start making a difference so if anyone can point me in the way of books to get started or websites with great information about forming your own plan that would be great.
Cheers

You can look up beginner programs such as
Mark Rippetoe - Starting strength
or a free program:
http://www.muscleandstrength.com/workouts/jason-blaha-ice-cream-fitness-5x5-novice-workout
____________
Full body routines are most ideal for beginners
However, ensure you have a trainer to show you proper form on all exercises, and don't do them without having proper form, you will get injured very easily once you up the weight
Not only using the aid of a trainer, but use YouTube videos on 'How to' do certain exercises, because these programs are mainly compound lifts they are the most technical lifts
You've done great so far, keep up the good work
If you wan't some beginner routines and you are not confident in doing this compound movements, I can probably develop a more beginner routine that involves a few more machines (for safety) if you really want0
