Step away from the cake

Hello chaps!
I was thinking of a way that I could keep myself motivated during the new year (and stay on the wagon, damn it) so I started to write a weight loss blog. Does anyone else do this? I tend to find that having an outlet for diet/exercise related things allowed me to see the lighter side even by writing it, and it also keeps a fresh record of how well I was doing/feeling if later down the road the path felt a bit blurry.
