What is the healthiest frozen pizza you can buy? (I know making your own is better)

I like the Amy's Organic when I buy frozen.

ETA: I maybe buy frozen pizza once a year... I prefer to make my own or to order from a good local pizza place.0 -
Define "Healthiest"…do you mean low in calories or more balanced macro-nutrients? Or both...0
-
Loaded question..........depends upon your definition of healthy.
Do you "need" real pizza ingredients to satisfy your craving (I do) ................no english muffins (or tortillas) topped with tomato sauce for me.
For taste I like Digiorno THIN crust.......no not "healthy" but I get a decent portion size & it satisfies my craving. I start dinner with a small salad .....and then don't eat as much pizza.
Lean Cusines are great for portion control. Just enough pepperoni to satisfy. They have all veggie varieties too .....sort of like pizza.
Kashi makes some whole grain crust varieties
Amy's is generally lower sodium....I'm sure you can find soy meat or fake cheese .....but again, it depends upon your definition of healthy.
Homemade is fairly easy.................Fleischmann's makes a 1 step pizza crust yeast. It's great to control all your ingredients.
Turkey pepperoni is much lower fat .....tastes good .....texture is off kind of stiff. 2% mozzarella is a nice option. If you're a pepperoni lover..... buy a thin crust cheese pizza and add turkey pepperoni0 -

both if that is possible0 -
I've had 2 of the Eat Balanced pizzas - cheese and tomato and ham and pineapple. They also have a spicy chicken one which I've not tried yet.

I think any thin crust cheese pizza can be healthy. Just load up with some healthy toppings of your choice at home before baking.
Thick crust pizzas are usually going to be carb heavy, which is fine if you have a ton of carbs to use up. Thin crust with veggies and lean meat can be pretty balanced.0 -
I eat Lean Cuisine pizzas. They taste good, and are the perfect size. Best of all for me, no leftovers so I am not tempted to eat more. About 350 calories each and 400mg sodium.0

Making your own isn't really better unless you have a brick oven. Conventional ovens don't get hot enough for proper pizza.
(Sorry I'm a pizza snob).
I like the Tufurkey or Amys brand, because they have soy-free vegan cheese.
IMO though Pizza is one of those things it's not worth it to make 'healthy" if you want pizza - eat real pizza not rubbish from the frozen section. Just have the calories for it.0 -

Just eat the pizza on a day when you are ready to have extra calories, or eat a small amount that fits into your count. Pizza has a lot of carbs (crust) fat (meat and cheese) and sodium. Eating it once in a while isn't going to hurt you.0 -
if the word cauliflower gets mentioned here I'm ragequitting...0

I like California pizza kitchen's thin crust bbq chicken pizza. You can eat 1/2 of it and its less than 600 calories. I'm not sure what your calorie goals are but it fits mine just fine plus its delicious!0

It depends on your macros and what else you have eaten. There is no such thing as a healthy food item. Only your diet as a whole can be healthy or unhealthy.0

I eat the whole thing for like 430 calories, and it's like 20 or 22 grams of protein. I do love the CA bbq chicken if I'm doing frozen pizza for lunch.0 -
it technically qualifies as tortilla pizza, but I get a pita like bread product called "Flat Out" and slather it with sauce and fat free cheese (for the macros) and any other topping you want. You could make a decent sized serving that is somewhat (optimally) healthy.0

I do this too, when I want 'real' pizza. Usually we get a Papa Murphy's thin crust delight pizza. So yummy! That is only about once a month though, so for the other times I am craving pizza (which is often) the Lean Cuisines work out great for me.0 -

Is there a personal pizza size? I need to find that!0 -
I like Earth's Pride Organic Spinach & Feta. I buy them at BJs in a 3 pack. When I'm just too lazy to cook a meal, I'll heat up those. They are pretty thin, which cuts down on some of the cals/carbs. I think an entire pizza is about 750 cals (they are pretty small). I usually split 1 pizza in half with my kids. So I'm getting pizza for less than 400 cals. I supplement it with a huge salad. I can keep the cals within reason, and I get the pizza flavor.0

One of my favorites, if you have a Safeway, is Fajita Style Chicken Ole. On a good cardio day, I'll split one with my son. Half of the pizza is 625 cals, 25 g fat, 73 g carbs and 30 g protein.0

stouffer's pepperoni french bread pizza...
per slice: 410 calories, 20g fat, 13g protein

I've been buying the individual Homerun Inn frozen cheese pizzas. The thin crust is only about 270 cals, the regular crust is about 570. The regular crust obviously tastes much better, but I buy both and work them into my week.0

I recently got a flatbread from round table pizza, it was pretty good! Crispy, tasted somewhat like pizza and was pretty low in calories i guess! But usually when i order pizza, i go by taste!0

Yes, there is at my store. It's perfect for lunch!0 -
I like Lean Cuisine Pizzas0

Among frozen pizzas, I'm a big fan of American Flatbread. Also evol. Not sure if either are available nationally though, that is if your nation is USA.0
