i had all 3 meals today and like one snack. Back to drinking alot of water to get back on track after my TOTM. I got around 600 calories left today after working out ( i work out at night on school nights)....

since its past 7...should i still eat my exercise calories? if not will i go into starvation mode? if SO, how late is too late to eat? i eat every 4-6 hours for meals

You shouldn't eat 2 hours before bed. I go to bed at 10, so I never eat after 8. Not eating your exercise calories one night isn't going to put you in starvation mode, so if you're not hungry then don't stress it! Hope this helped a bit!

I never worry about time, just stay within my calories per day (including exercise cals if I'm hungry). And I have lost 35 pounds over the last 7 months.
  • If I'm hungry I grab a healthy snack and don't really worry about what time it is. Hasn't seemed to bother my weight loss a bit.

I have always wondered the same exact thing. My guess is one time will not send you into starvation mode, and if you don't plan on going to bed anytime soon, eat a little something. You always have the option of eating fresh veggies or fruit, or eating only half (per say) of your exercise calories, that's if your hungry. If you are worried about it sticking and are hungry, drink lots of water and go to bed earlier :) Hope that helps

yeah, go ahead and have a snack if you'd like, you've still got calories to spend. personally I've found a small snack at night helps me sleep.

your body treats calories the same way no matter what time of day it is. Usually the reason people say not to eat before bed is because digestion during sleep can actually cause you to not sleep as well, and wake up with gas and bloating.

Something low-fat, low-carb should be fine. Those types of foods are better eaten earlier in the day so you have time to burn it off before it sticks. Fruits are a gread bedtime snack!
