Trader Joe's weird nutritional info

I'm starting to get really confused. It's happened several times that I buy something there, look it up, and the nutrition info is totally wrong, yet it's been confirmed 10+ times. I always correct it, but now I wonder... Is it the same everywhere? Do they change their products all the time or something?

there's a canned salmon product that I eat a lot that is off by 20 calories (more than partial fat/carb/protein grams can account for).
I feel your pain.
and yes, trader joes changes their product offering and actual products more than most stores. Same with their parent brand, Aldi.0 -
I often find stuff wrong that's been confirmed. If the companies are updating info (yay them, for routine testing to make sure the information is accurate), then I'm not sure if the confirmations disappear if you say no. If you click that the info is not correct, it allows you to update with the correct info. There are several entries that have a name that includes corrected on xx/xx/xxxx.0

Since Trader Joe's sells the vast majority of their products under their own label, rather than a "National Brand" label (Kraft, Nabisco, whatnot), it's likely that their sourcing changes a lot more frequently than for other products.
For example - when you buy Yoplait yogurt from Walmart, Yoplait is typically manufacturing it themselves (at least on some level), controlling the formula, etc, and therefore creating consistency from store to store and purchase to purchase.
When Trader Joe's sells yogurt, they're not making it themselves, they're purchasing it from a yogurt manufacturer and putting it in their own packaging. That makes it a lot more likely that they might change suppliers (and therefore product formulas) more often than other products, due to pricing, vendor issues, etc. There might even be multiple suppliers for different areas of the country, leading to slightly different formulations and nutritional information.
So, while the difference is not likely to be big, when you're buying store brand products (from anywhere, not just TJ's) it's a good idea to double check the info.0 -
something pretty cool about them(see the link below):

Very proactive company, contact them with concerns, they'll address it and get back to you....at least that is the rumor. Good luck.0
