Hi -- new here

Hi all,

I only recently discovered myfitnesspal and so far like it worlds better than livestrong's myplate. Seems like a really great community over here.

A little about me... I'm a reluctant runner (hate running but love the camaraderie afforded by my local clubs) and was obese most of my childhood. Being the fat kid never left my psyche so I tend to feel chubby no matter what condition I'm actually in.

I was recently surprised by the amount of weight I gained over the last six months, so time for corrections and changes. I've done CrossFit on and off again, but I stopped going about 6 months, then my diet devolved and I started running far fewer weekly miles. WHAT A DISASTER!! I plan to start anew this weekend at new CF box, eat strictly clean, be alcohol free and track calories at least until the 15 lbs of uselessness I've recently gained is gone.
