Hello everyone
It's been kinda long time since I heard this one for the first time.. but I actually started counting my chewing like a month ago and now I'm doing it without even knowing. The question is.. does it really work? and if so then how?
If someone knew I would really appreciate it

Well, if I remember my biology lessons correctly -
When you chew (mastication), it releases an enzyme in your mouth called amaylase (spelling?) which breaks down you food making it easier to digest in the stomach. Also, the more you chew, the slower you're eating which gives the stomach time to send signals to the brain that it's full, so you may end up feeling fuller earlier, therefore eating less.0 -
Aww thanks for this answer!
it's good to know the biology behind it
