Harder to lose when older?????

Hi - I have been using this app for 30 days. I'm a 74 year old woman very active. Just joined a gym 1 week ago, work out 3 to 4 days a week & walk my dog daily. Want to lose 22 lbs ( that is just a 1st step) prob should be 32 lbs!!!!!! Like this app as it makes me accountable. Would like to meet others in my age group.
