Weighing question

I never weigh my self. Is that fine? I have lost over 70 pounds. I run twice a day and lift weights. I burn literally 900 calories a day. I am proud of the fact of how much weight I have lost. Just I feel the same if I wake up sometimes at 180 and at 177. My pants feel the same I look just as fit. I just do not know why my weight will go up and down like that. I work out so much I feel the need not to weigh my self at all. Is that a good thing to do?

How do you know you've lost 70 pounds without weighing yourself? Without actually weighing yourself that's a figure plucked out of thin air. Do what ever works for you and your happy with

    This.

Also, burning 900 calories daily is REALLY hard to do.... even if you run 2x daily, which imo is overkill.

how do you know you've lost 70 pounds then? I weigh myself once a week. I see no need to weigh myself more than that... weight fluctuates so much daily.

Funny, daily fluctuations are exactly why I weigh everyday. If I only weighed once a week, how would I know if the one day I weighed I had a fluctuation? I wouldn't know whether it was gone the next day and I'd lost weight that week, or had a bad week and actually put that weight on.

If you're already in a healthy weight range, I don't think it's necessary. But if you're still overweight and trying to get healthier, then it's a good idea to track your progress by weighing yourself.

If you're concerned that muscle may make your weight stall or rise, you can also take measurements to track your progress. I measure my hips and waist on weigh-in days.
