Recipe Ideas

My boyfriend has rather sweetly offered to cook me a nice meal on Tuesday, as I normally do all the cooking I'm looking forward to it but don't want to ruin my diet in the process! He normally likes to make Thai or Indian curries which are probably going to be very high in cals. Could anyone recommend a website with recipe ideas where I'll be able to still keep track and try to be good?

check out www.skinnytaste.com and www.emilybites.com - both of those ladies take normal everyday foods and "healthy up" the recipes. You stand a pretty good chance of finding some good leads there Good luck!0

Thai red curry is not too bad calorie wise.. Just avoid the curries with coconut cream or lots of ghee..
Nam Prik Ong is a favourite Thai dish, which is very healthy. Essentially bolognese sauce or sloppy joe filling spiked with red curry paste served warm and used for dipping in raw veg. First recipe makes the curry paste from scratch. Second recipe uses a store bought curry paste.

Don't let the boyfriend do the cooking! That is why I am on this site, too much fatty food cooked by a guy!0

check out the recipe forum here on mfp and search thai or indian..... also love skinnytaste as previously mentioned and you could probably find something on the web if you search with keywords like "light healthy thai meals"0
