Help Needed! :(

Hey guys, my name is Jean and I'm in need of serious help! One of my NY resolutions this year is to drop 10 kg and it seems so hard to do it! I know a lot people say it's not the scale that matters but for me, I just wanna drop the extra kilos off so I can fit into clothes, feel better about myself and keeping fit.

For the past 11 days, I've been trying to cut down on my calorie intake and I tried to work out more like climbing the stairs, lunges, squats, skipping etc. However, I can't seem to start myself to jog/run at all! I've terrible stamina but I really wanna jog/run so I can lose weight more effectively. :( Any suggestions how I can do it?

Look up the C25K program online and/or download the app to your phone they have it for iPhone and Android now. It gets you started from doing nothing and gradually builds you up using a combination of walking and running over the course of several weeks until you in the end are running (at whatever pace) a full 5k at a time. I want to start it, rather badly, but have been sidelined with a horrid chest cold and with asthma to boot now's not the best time unfortunately. I'm impatiently waiting for clearance from my doc!
  • You don't need to jog/run to lose weight. If you don't like it, don't do it. You can lose weight doing any activity so find something you like.

I just started jog/running and I love it (didn't think I would). I was going to use C25K but felt too out of shape. I found this link helpful: http://www.runnersworld.com/getting-started/the-worlds-simplest-learn-to-run-program
