Hi
I have been looking at tdee with -25% and wondered what everyone thinks

I weigh 225ibs
Height 5ft 4
Age 35
Female
I want to loose 100lbs at a rate of 2lbs a week if possible as I get married in September this year.

My Bmr worked out at 1765 and Tdee worked out at 2427 so I am going to eat about 1850 calories a day

What do I you think?

It sounds good for now but you will have to switch to a new manageable 20% deficit once you have less than 50-60 lbs to lose, IMO.

I also wouldn't aim for such a big loss in 9 months. I don't want to be a downer, but I started a year ago at 213 lbs, lost an average of 1.5 lb a week, and I'm still only 141 lbs, and only lost 28 lbs in the last 6 months. It doesn't mean it's not doable, but it's going to be a lot of work, IMO it's healthier to just lose weight at a reasonable pace, even if it means you'll be 150 lbs at your wedding.

    Thankyou for your reply
I think I over egged my 100lbs target to be honest. I would be happy to be 160lbs by September as that would be amazing but still a big old goal

Did you do the tdee - 25% method for your fabulous weight loss. Such an inspiration to know that it can be done
