Not sure where to post this but I just read a post from another member depicting somethings that can happen when you are very overweight. For example, bending down to pick something up and you rip your pants, (been there...teaching a class of 2nd graders and blew out my pants. I had to tie a shirt around my waist and wait until lunch where I ran and bought as new pair of pants....kids were cool about it though, lol). Definelty motivation to lose some weight! How about you? Any stories, funny, strange, that has happened to you due to excessive weight....problems?

I was 350+ lbs. I was out on a date and we were seated on a patio of a restaurant. They had those white plastic chairs that you see everywhere. I asked my date, "I'm uncomfortable in this chair, can we move inside?" He kindly said, "OH, you should get a chair like me, with arms, it's comfy!" I HAD a chair like him, it's just that my fat and clothes were hiding the arms! ZOIKS.0

feeling VERY uncomfortable in a booth or smaller theater seats. I can think of a million times when my thighs were numb and hips almost bruised-feeling from attending a friend's kid's dance recitals in an old theater. And for many years, I tried to avoid restaurant booths because the smaller ones would leave me feeling like I needed to hold my breath and/or rest my breasts on the table in order to eat. Along with that, lots of times when I would drip food or drink on my shirt because of the same thing.
For me that all went away when I got back to my "usual" weight of about 260. But when I was at my HW (307) it was pretty horrible.
Now that I have gotten to 202-203 lb I find that I actually have room on both sides of my body when I sit in theater seats or office chairs with arms...AWESOME NSV. Seriously, seems so minor to those who have always been average or only somewhat bigger. But I love it and appreciate it.0 -
I have the same issues when I am invited to go out to eat I always worry about the seating and have to do a "drive by" to check the place out before I commit to going. Also I am in school (better late than never) always have to go check my classrooms to see if I will be able to take a class based on the desks. Its so frustrating,0
