I have done a lot of reading and it seems that the Kinvara 4 would suit my running style, needs and goals. Keen to hear feedback from anyone who has this shoe (good or bad) or other Saucony shoes. Unfortunately where I live there are no Saucony stockists so hope to try out a pair when I am out of town at a place that sells them in three weeks time!

I love the Guide 6 Running shoe. I have two pair of them. I went to a Fleet Feet store, where they actually still measure your feet and do an analysis of your running gait, etc. Turns out I'd been wearing a shoe too narrow and half a size too long (probably to compensate for the narrow width). Tried the Saucony first, and that's all she wrote. Love them.0

I have the Men's Kinvara 4 (and had the Kinvara 2 before that). I enjoy how lightweight and breathable they are. Zappos should carry them, so you can try them on and ship them back for free if you don't like them.0

I have saucony guide pro's, I don't do a lot of running but when I do they've been good.0

I second this the saucony guide pro. I've worn them for three half marathons and training runs in between. I have wide feet and so I went for the men's shoe since the store I bought them at didn't carry women's wide shoes.0 -
I wear Saucony Pro Grid Omni 11, men's size 10. It's a stability shoe that helps with my pronation problem. Wore them for my 1st 1\2 marathon this past November with no problems. Currently on my 2nd pair of Omni 11's training for a 15K & 2 1\2s in the next 2 months and ultimately for a full marathon in Jan 2015. They came out with Omni 12s, but I've been able to find my 3rd pair of Omni 11s (holding as reserve) on-line for $56. Had a running gait analysis in these shoes last week and was told these are a good shoe & fit for me, so i'll stick with this make and model as long as I can find them or they stop working for me. I do wear Spenco inserts in them, tried Superfeet inserts with my 2nd pair and got a blister on my instep during a 7-mile long run...swapped back to my Spenco and did an 8-miler with no problems. So I learned 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'0

I like Saucony but not for running.
Not all brands fit all people for running purposes.
Your best bet is to hit a real running store and have them fit you by watching you run on treadmill and analyze your gait.
I ended up in Brooks was so sure Saucony would be the shoe and it wasn't.0 -
I love my Sauconys! I've had a couple different models, and they've been great. However, getting a professional fitting would be great.0

I love Saucony. It's the only running shoe brand I buy.0

I had both the Kinvara 1 & 2. LOVED them. I have since gone down the very minimalist shoe road, but if I buy another "normal" pair, I would certainly check out the Kinvara's again.0
