What is BMR TDEE and how do I find out mines???

Im so confused as to how many calories Im supposed to eat in a day its sickening....Right now my profile is set to 1350 but I have no idea if thats even right.

How am I supposed to figure out how many calories Im supposed to eat in a day to lose fat with exercise because every system I try and everybody I ask says something different....I have not seen the scale move in almost a month and its depressing.

really, there's only 1 formula (harris benedict) that most places are using, so there really shouldnt be too much of a difference in the numbers since it's just math.

the differences probably come in because many people are overly aggressive in their weight loss goals and people who shouldnt be trying to lose 2 pounds a week will make that their goal. then they get a 1200 calorie goal that's below their BMR.

I Googled Eat More Weigh Less and there is a blog from a MFP member that should help...it answered some questions for me.

Jillian Michaels Website does a free profile for you without having to join her program and she gives a good explanation of TDEE. I had never heard of it before checking out her program. when you put in your information it gets pretty detailed and provides good explanations.

Also, this is from MFP BMR measurement page:
Our calculator uses the Mifflin-St. Jeor equations to estimate your BMR which is believed to be more accurate than the more commonly used Harris-Benedict equation.
