Anyway, what are your NET calorie goals and how many exercise cals do you eat back?? Sorry to the menfolk for not wanting your input

congrats on your weight loss so far!
i'm currently 5'5 223 pounds. i'm not sure what my actual goal weight is because my goal is to be a size 6 (currently i'm a size 14 jeans if i hide the resulting muffin top or size 16 if i dont want to look like a HAM  ). i really dont think my goal weight will be too much lower than 150 though
i'm doing the TDEE method - 1000 calories in order to lose 2 pounds a week. i got my TDEE from here
http://www.fat2fitradio.com/tools/
and am using the moderately active number. so 2600 to maintain which means i average around 1600 calories a day. i'm also obese and have around 35 more pounds to lose until i've reached a healthy body fat percentage
this is my second round of MFP and i'm averaging 2 pounds loss for the 2 weeks i have been eating at a deficit but i had been eating a maintenance (and maybe a bit above :drinker: ) for almost 3 weeks because of xmas vacation, a week in new orleans, etc).
i plan on eating at this level until i've reached 189. after that i'll recalculate and will lower my weight loss goals to 1.5 pounds0 -
The activity level also confuses me. Right now I am doing 30 ds, Crossfit and joined a gym for a few months (promotional type deal) so I am pretty active now. A few months ago, however, I was only walking some. It just depends I guess on my mood. Maybe just turning into high gear and leaving it there should be the plan. I need to re-figure my tdee and just do lightly active probably. I have a desk job mostly, but do intentional exercise at least 30 min 5 days a week.0

i went with moderately active because i workout anywhere from 4-7 days a week depending on the week.
because i love math, i figured out that the TDEE moderately active formula assumes that i burn 1500 calories per week from exercise. that means that each workout is worth 300-500 calories which is inline with my workouts. i wear an HRM to track that by the way.
i also have a desk job but i've also been making more of an effort to be more active while there. i'll physically go to a coworker to ask a question rather than email, i print to a printer further away from my desk, i go for a walk at lunch, i take the steps in the BART station and in my apartment building rather than elevator, etc. i have a pedometer and all of these little changes means that i'm taking at least 5K extra steps than i was before0
