I'm in maintenance mode now and to add calories to my day I'm making two smoothies in the day (which will also help with adding protein as well for me). I eat a full breakfast early in the morning an a kefir/whey/fruit/oats smoothie between 9-11 (after I run or work out) and a green smoothie in the afternoon (kale/fruit/fruit/whey) in the afternoons/early evening.
Are there any go-to foods to keep included? For example, I tend to use bananas after my longer runs for the muscle help. I love berries and I know there are some great benefits with blueberries and raspberries.
