I just planned my birthday. I plan to do a 5k. It's also an obstacle course. I'm so stoked and motivated. The best thing is I have time to train. It is in 4 months. Any advice from anyone that has run it?

    There is a program called C25K (from the Couch to a 5K) that trains you to run a 5K in 9 weeks. It's also an app you can download on your phone. It's a great program. Although I didn't complete it (only did 7 weeks), it's how I lost the bulk of my weight along with changing up my eating habits.

    Thanks. I have an app called get running. That's what I'm using to start the basic training. I'm just more worried about the obstacle course. :D Not that the running training isn't hard but I kind of have a tiny idea about that.
