I just planned my birthday. I plan to do a 5k. It's also an obstacle course. I'm so stoked and motivated. The best thing is I have time to train. It is in 4 months. Any advice from anyone that has run it?

There is a program called C25K (from the Couch to a 5K) that trains you to run a 5K in 9 weeks. It's also an app you can download on your phone. It's a great program. Although I didn't complete it (only did 7 weeks), it's how I lost the bulk of my weight along with changing up my eating habits.0

Thanks. I have an app called get running. That's what I'm using to start the basic training. I'm just more worried about the obstacle course.
Not that the running training isn't hard but I kind of have a tiny idea about that.
