adding a new recipe to MFP

When you add a new recipe to MFP and allow it to be added to the public database, does it take a while for it to show up in search? I added one this morning, but it doesn't come up in search.

    does anybody know how long it takes to show up?

    It doesn't show up in the public database yet - they haven't added that feature: but if you are trying to add your recipe to a meal, shoose your meal (lunch or whatever) then click on the Add Food and then click on the Recipes tab. The only recipes you can see are your own
