This time I have to keep it off

I've been battling with my weight for years and each new year I make a plan for a healthier lifestyle. I usually stick with the plan for a few months, losing a few pounds but then I fall back into old habits. Well this year it has to be different. I'm the heaviest I've ever been and last summer I suffered three herniated discs which I'm certain are a result of my weight and unhealthy lifestyle. I'm 42 y/o, 5'10 and weight 255lbs. My goal is to lose between 45-50 lbs which isn't a lot but requires an amount of discipline that I have not exhibited in years. I'm hoping to find some people on this board that will help to encourage me and keep me motivated, and I hope to do the same for others. Best of luck to everyone on their journey.

It is so hard to stick with it, I totally agree!! As my schedule picks up I find it harder to eat well, along with limited time it is also hard to squeeze in exercise! Excuses are so easy!! I'm with you trying to stick with eating well and keep fitness in the schedule!
