4th day on diet

I am wanting to lose 100+ lbs. I need encouragement. I started on 1/9/14 and have lost 4 lbs. I'm getting into that need energy phase and need some reassurance.

    I hear you Mimi. There is no easy way. What your doing is what you have to keep doing. I'm saying this for you as well as for myself. Sometimes its going to come down to one sec, min etc at a time. Don't focus so much on the food. As long as your getting what you know is an appropriate nutritional intake. Its normal to obsess over the food. One of my spiritual advisers says anything you don't feed will die. That goes for cravings and mindsets as well. 4 days is a great deal of time to be abstinent from any addiction. Food, sugar, alcohol, drugs etc. What would you say to a dear friend at this particular crossroad? Say that exact same thing to yourself. Be your own best friend. I also believe that you have to replace one habit with another. What can you do in between your meals to keep yourself occupied. Go take a walk, hang out with a friend who is healthy. If everything you do is around or about eating or not eating the minutes will become hours. You can do this, I know you can. God Bless!
