MFP Calories burned vs. Machine

So lately I have been using the manual start on the machines I use vs just doing quick start, this way I have to enter my weight in. The calories burned when I have finished on the machine are quite different than what is in MFP when I enter in the same excersize/time. The machine is usually a good deal lower... To be on the safe side I have been substituting the machine # for the MFP # in my log, but I was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue, or had some thoughts on the matter! Thanks!

Don't trust either. If you want closer numbers use a Heart Rate Monitor".0

Both are probably over estimates. Pick one. Eat half to two-thirds of those calories. If you find weight loss stalled lower the amount you eat back a bit. Keep going until you find the sweet spot.0
