New (Old) user checking in for the first time.

Evening ladies and gentlemen.

New Years Resolution is to do a better job of tracking weight loss and all that fun stuff.

A little about me: I don't have a perfectly accurate measurement of where I started (years ago) but I know when we had a biometric screening / health evaluation at my old employer the lady weighed me at 460something lbs.

That bothered me, as it should, but I didn't do anything about it.

Fast forward to July 2013. One of my best friends (family friend) who had just turned 40 years old (I am just now 30) was shoveling snow, and just keeled over and died. That...was the wakeup call I needed. Since then I have been trying to lose responsibly and as of today, I am at -54lb.

Nothing but small changes. Better food + walking. A few months ago I started taking Kettlebell classes but the progress almost stopped because I stopped holding myself accountable.

Now I'm back and it's my goal to properly document my weight loss, both as a reminder and an inspiration. God bless!

Way to go on the progress! Welcome back! It can be hard to keep up with the logging, but it makes a difference. You can do it!
