Question about Activity Trackers (eg fitbit, bodymedia etc)

So I'd like to get a good activity tracker, preferably one that links via bluetooth to MFP. I would prefer a wrist device however the problem I have is that for work I usually need to have my arms free of anything up to the elbows. On the days I'd need to do that I'd have to have another way to wear the monitor. My first choice isn't a clip on but if it's my best solution I'll make do. My question is, is anyone aware of a good device that can be used both as a clip on and on the wrist as a watch? If not, anyone have any recommendations as to what I should look at? Should I wait for some of the ones from CES to come out? Thanks in advance for the help!

I have the BMF fit that you wear on your upper arm and it works well for me. I think it tracks more things than the FitBit can, so it might be a little more accurate in the calories burned department. I love it.

The Misfit Shine can supposedly be worn either way, though I don't know how they manage that.
