Any opinions on First Degree rowers?

Hey all :)

I'm going to order a rowing machine within the next week or so and was hoping to find some opinions on the First Degree range. Specifically looking at the Neptune/Viking/Pacific rowers, but any opinions on the range at all would be useful to me.

It seems no matter where you look online people are pushing you towards the C2, if not that its the WaterRower. Its been hard going trying to find some honest thoughts on the First Degree models.

Are there any main reasons I might want to avoid First Degree rowers?

I bought this one below, which I think is made by First Degree. It was terrific. I didn't keep it long, I sold it to a friend who liked it, because I missed being upright while exercising. I sit all day at work, I didn't like sitting to exercise. I know people always push the C2 but I wanted the sound and the lack of 'dead spot' from a water rower.

That rower looks exactly like the models I am looking at. I want a water rower for the same reason, was tough choosing between the different types but the water rowers just seem to stand out for that reason. Its nice to hear a good opinion on them, people are pushing towards the C2's so very hard online - I almost feel a little bit of peer pressure!

Thanks for sharing, I'm sure its the same make :)

I have a C2 that's been going strong for 4 years now. When I bought it, the only water rower was about twice the cost of the C2. If the version you're considering was available then, I probably would've gotten that instead. Don't get me wrong. I love my C2. But I would've enjoyed the "more realistic" feel of the water rower.
