Strength training and food diary

My trainer from the gym is doing mfp and is just getting used to the way it all works here, so she can support the people at the gym who are her clients, and check their food diary etc.
Anyway, she said to me yesterday, that when she clicks on strength training and say does chin ups, it does not give her any extra kilojoules like it does for when i click say a hour workout at the gym. How come it goes like this? She is just using the app on her phone, so I said that I would ask as I have never really included my exercise here, I have always done the food diary and not included my exercises, but now I am including it.

Look under "Cardiovascular", many options there. Your results will vary depending on how hard you go though, but it's a good approximation.

Yep, under Cardiovascular, it has circuit training, general, as one example.

The strength training items do not include any calories, because it depends so much on the individual, that is cannot be generalized for entries.
