Hi,
I haven't worked out in along time and have against a lot of advice jumped straight into insanity workout..
I need some advice on best thing to take to help muscles recover...
Any advice really welcome...
In case it makes a difference I'm try to lose about 40lbs and trying to tone up some well hidden muscles..

Slow and steady will be healthier in the long run. Losing 40 pounds will take less than 2 years. If you push it you risk so many issues and set backs that it will end up taking you longer than the 2 years.0

Lots of slow, deep stretches right after your workout. And if you don't already have one, I definitely suggest finding a foam roller. Rolling out hurts like crazy, but it works miracles on sore muscles.0
