New Year, Lose Weight, Stop Smoking. Need Help!

2014 is a big year for me. I'd like to get back to my high school weight, so I've got about 30-40 pounds I'd like to lose. I've also decided to start jogging regularly since there are amazing trails just behind my apartment. To do this, I have decided to quit smoking in order to obtain the healthy lifestyle I'm after. So far I've been smoke-free for 5 days and I've already lost almost 2 lbs. I could REALLY use the encouragement from a supportive community to make sure that I stay on track with all of my goals and don't pick up my old nasty habits!
