Slow and Steady!

I'm newish. I've had an account before, but my mindset was in a way different place then. Now, I'm in a much more positive frame of mind, and I've gotten results by taking things slow and steady. I'm still a work in progress though. Add me if you have a similar mind set, need motivation (we all need it sometimes!), or just want to reach out to people. I love to run, lift, do yoga, hike, bike, and plank!

I only like to go slow and steady. If I try to go too fast I screw it all up and I don't have lasting results. Then I'm left unsatisfied.

This is definitely one of those things you should take your time with.
  • I agree 100% Sometimes I want those results NOW and I get frustrated, but I just have to remind myself that it takes time.

I am 22x's 2 and it seems that slow and steady wins the race!
  • I agree-It took me awhile to put it on and it will take me awhile to get it off. I have decided that this time i will reward myself every time i reach a goal i set for myself. The goals will be smaller and reachable compared to the past

Getting fit and reaching our goals is a journey...one day at a time. It's like trying to travel across the world in one day. Won't happen. So take it slow, enjoy the ride, and most importantly...meet new people while you're doing this! Nothing is better than making new friends and getting support from others. You'll get there...just don't forget to enjoy every moment of it, even the hard ones!
