Fitting it all in

Hi all,
I'm recent returner to MFP - I used it successfully to track my diet & exercise whilst on Mat leave & it worked well for me.
Now I'm over a year on, back at work full time and feeling the bulge after Christmas and New Year! At the end of last year I was running (well.. jogging) 3 times a week for up to 4 miles. Not huge mileage but I was proud of it!
But now the frosty cold is here along with the v dark nights.... ! I really struggle to get time to go for a run. I don't like going after eating so would find myself rushing home, feeding the family then going for run, but that saw me running v late then eating v late & took lots of co-ordination around family acitivities!
I've just started the 30 day shred as love that i can complete it whenever suits me & it's quick. Would quite like to get the running going again eventually, any tips from working family folks?
