Last night my house was crazy busy and I was disappointed because I normally go to the gym on Monday evenings and I didn't think I could find the time to go. After dinner my husband encouraged me to go even if it was only for 45 minutes. I wasn't really in the mood to workout but I decided to go anyways. I have never been a runner, but one of my friends got me interested in running. For the past 3 months I have been running little bits here and there, but I really struggle with it. I would run for 5 minutes and then walk for a couple, then run again. I always get pain in my legs or feet, etc. Last night I must have really been in the zone. I ran for 1.25 miles without a break. I was just really feeling it. My legs didn't hurt, I wasn't gasping for air....I was just moving! I want to run a glow-in-the-dark race this summer and this just gave me the motivation to train harder so I can run the entire 5K.
