Macro Trouble

Hey you guys, I've finished insanity now I do the month two videos every day. I pick two sometimes even three videos a day and do them. I burn a really good amount a day. I went to the doctor this morning and he told me I need to up my carbs and lower my protein. Before, I was on 1400 calories a day, 40/40/20 diet. So I was at 144g protein and carbs with 34g fat. But now, the doctor told me to up my calories to 2000 a day and do a 50/25/25, 50% being the carbs. Do you guys think this is a good idea? I'm 14 years old, burn roughly around 1780 calories a day(not for sure) and my numbers would look something like this based on what the doctor told me to do. 250g carbs, 125g protein, and 56g fat.
