Hello MFP-ers! Long time lurker, first time poster
Okay, long story short, I do C25K for cardio, and 30 day shred for toning and strength. It's been going pretty well!
HOWEVER...in about 2 weeks, I will be moving out to Japan to start a life with the fiance. The thing is, we will be on the second floor of an old apartment building...and Japanese apartments are way more 'sensitive' than their western counterparts when it comes to noise blockage. I'm trying to find something with a lot of floor work and 'quiet' training, without noisy moves such as jumping jacks. I will have a park for running, but it will be a shame if I don't get to do any DVDs
Any suggestions?

Pilates or any "Flow" Yoga can work up a sweat and strengthen. Maybe other members can recommend some good DVD's. I think Jillian Michaels has a good Yoga DVD out.0

Tamilee Webb's "I Want That Body" is awesome with no jumping involved.0

2 words.................Low impact
Look up DVDs here: collagevideo.com
This site gives reviews that state impact level. You can also watch video clips.
Almost any (pure) strength DVD will be low impact......the circuit type DVDs (Shred....and the vast majority of Jillians) can be high or low impact....so you need to look up specific titles....or swap out jumping jacks (whatever) with low impact versions.
Cathe (Freidrich) has a whole series titled low impact.........http://www.collagevideo.com/searchresults.aspx?type=all&search=cathe+friedrich0 -
Jillian's yoga DVD is intense stuff and I don't recall any jumping. I live on the third floor... but don't care if my neighbors hear. I understand your concern though. It is called Yoga Meltdown. It is unlike any yoga I've ever done. Definitely gets your heart rate up and it's a lot like 30 Day Shred in the way she instructs you (I loved 30DS).
Best of luck finding a workout and congrats on your new life adventure!0 -

Fitness Blender has some great low impact and silent workouts that are great. They are both on their website or youtube!0
